History

Inception 1972

Born out of collaboration, CDA, Bangalore formalized itself to foster Indo-German co-operation, initially supported by CDG(Carl Duisberg Society) through Max Mueller Bhavan. Over time, we evolved into a registered organization with GIZ’s support, aligning with their vision for global synergy, capacity building, and sustainable development.

Celebrating 50 years, CDA, Bangalore sustains and functions with the support of Indo-German cooperative organizations. It operates independently for Indo-German co-operation with its corpus and funding from facilitation from Indo-German co-operative organizations.

CDA Bangalore is registered under the Registrar of Societies, CDA operates with an elected executive committee and ex-officio members.

Collaborating with GIZ, we have executed initiatives like New Vistas, Capacity Building Workshops, and sustainability programs.
